Bellevue police reported Friday that detectives have arrested a 30-year-old woman and two teenage boys in connection with a July 10 shooting at Overlook at Lakemont Apartments.
The detectives believe that the woman hired the two teenage boys to shoot her ex-husband, a 48-year-old victim. He was shot nine times while approaching his car in the parking lot of the apartments. She was allegedly suppose to pay them $13,000 for what police call a “murder for hire scheme.”
The victim survived and is recovering since the July incident.
Investigators claim that one of the boys drove the other from Mount Vernon to Bellevue to shoot the victim.
The shooting remains an active investigation, accprding to Bellevue police.
