Tukwila police discovered human remains at a home Tuesday morning near South 148th Street and 42nd Avenue South.
Major Crimes Unit (MCU) detectives have been assigned to the case, according to the department.
“There is no threat to the public,” the Tukwila Police Department stated in a post on Facebook.
As of 4 p.m., detectives were expected to be processing the scene for several hours.
