Juneteenth WA: The Largest Juneteenth Celebration in WA State
The Seattle area has plenty of Juneteenth celebrations, but Juneteenth WA is billed as the largest Juneteenth gathering in the state. The Tacoma celebration offers a full day of activities centered on this year’s theme, “A Road to Economic Freedom.” The live music lineup is led by Grammy-winning gospel singer Erica Campbell, R&B favorite Lyfe Jennings, and Crystal Aikin, with a car and bike show, food vendors, community resources, youth programming, and more rounding out the festivities. If you’re only making it to one Juneteenth celebration this year, this one’s a strong contender. LANGSTON THOMAS
