FRIDAY

LIVE MUSIC

Fremont Fridays Summer Music Series
Alert the group chat: Fremont Fridays are back! Now in its fifth year, the totally free and community-organized “underground fest” brings live music and entertainment to multiple venues across the neighborhood for 12 Fridays in a row. TMELT snagged the opening music slot after winning Battle of the Bands at Add-A-Ball earlier this month, kicking off performances on the LTD stage at 6:30 pm with their atmospheric alt-rock. You can stick around there to catch sets from vintage rockers Joyla Red and Fremont Fridays founders/funk-hop collective Marshall Law Band, or you can check out George and Dragon’s all-ages World Cup watch party, West of Lenin’s comedy show, Fremont Social’s DJ dance party, or more live music at Add-A-Ball and the Mermaid Lounge. Stay in one place or wander the neighborhood—you simply can’t go wrong! SHANNON LUBETICH
