Old Stove Brewing was founded on a simple belief: great beer has the power to bring people together. What began in the heart of Seattle has grown into three distinct destinations, each built around exceptional craft beer, scratch-made food, and genuine hospitality. There’s a particular kind of magic in a place built around a shared pint, and that has been at the heart of what we do since the beginning.
Today, Old Stove welcomes guests at our flagship brewery overlooking Elliott Bay in Pike Place Market, our Ship Canal taproom between Queen Anne and Fremont, and our newest home in Ballard at Old Stove Gardens. Each has its own character but shares the same underlying spirit: to create welcoming spaces where locals and visitors alike can gather over a locally brewed pint.

Behind it all is a brewing team obsessed with getting it right: approachable, award-winning beers that respect classic styles while still chasing something new. Whether you’re enjoying one of our flagship favorites like the Two Pronged Crown IPA or discovering a seasonal release like our Mexican Lager, Mira Aqui, every beer is brewed with quality, consistency, and craftsmanship at its core.
As craft beer has evolved, many breweries have focused on expanding their footprint through distribution. We could have chased shelf space, but our real investment has always been in curating the space, not just the can. While we’re proud to see Old Stove beer enjoyed throughout the Pacific Northwest, we’ve equally invested in building destinations that bring people together. For us, the beer is what brings people through the door; the experience is what brings them back.

That experience extends beyond the pint glass. Our scratch kitchens emphasize fresh, locally sourced ingredients from Pacific Northwest farmers and producers for ingredients that actually taste like where they came from. Throughout the year, our spaces host everything from local bookstore pop-ups and artisan markets to dog adoption events, nonprofit fundraisers, live music, trivia nights, and family-friendly celebrations.
As Seattle continues to grow and evolve, we’re proud to be part of its story. Whether you’re visiting us for your first pint or your hundredth, our goal remains the same: to offer cold beer and warm hospitality.
