Researchers find skeletal remains of children, man with gunshot wounds at unmarked graves near Tulsa Race Massacre site

A team of archeologists and forensic scientists investigating gravesites that may be connected to the Tulsa Race Massacre announced their findings on Friday, which included the skeletal remains of children and a Black man with multiple gunshot wounds.

The investigation done by the 1921 Graves Investigation team began in July 2020 with archeologists examining sites potentially linked to the massacre. The team later found 12 graves in October 2020 in the area of the “Original 18,” a place where funeral home records show at least 18 Black massacre victims were buried. It wasn’t until June 1 that the team began to exhume graves from the site.

The team announced on Friday that a total

Springsteen on Broadway review: Boss delivers big on opening night, talks 2020 arrest

The times, and the show, they are a-changing.

A lot has happened since Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa last performed the hit “Springsteen on Broadway” on stage in December 2018. A worldwide pandemic, a national reckoning on race, a failed insurrection of the U.S. Capitol, and one of the stars of show was arrested, to name a few.

On Saturday, Springsteen and Scialfa delivered an energetic, poignant and reflective restaging of “Springsteen on Broadway” at the St. James Theatre, with new dialogue and new songs, too.

Former Skid Row singer Johnny Solinger has died a month after revealing he was suffering from liver failure. He was 55.

Solinger’s wife, actress Paula Marcenaro Solinger, confirmed the musician’s death. “He passed yesterday while I was holding his hand,” she told USA TODAY on Sunday morning.

He went in peace,” Marcenaro wrote Saturday night on Facebook, two hours after telling fans, “I have made the decision to transition to comfort care. It is time to let him go … I wish I could have done more. I wish I could have saved him. I’m so sorry, Johnny Solinger. I’m so sorry.”

Skid Row shared the news Saturday night on social media,

Florida building collapse update: Death toll climbs to 9; 150 still missing as rescue teams from Israel, Mexico search for residents

SURFSIDE, Fla. — At least four more people were confirmed dead, bringing the official death toll to nine, amid a days-long rescue effort after a condo tower in Surfside partially collapsed, officials from Miami-Dade County confirmed Sunday.

Searchers have dug a trench through the site to assist with their efforts, which were temporarily halted early Sunday when the rubble shifted. The trench provided access into new areas, authorities said.

“As a result of that, we were able to recover four additional bodies in the rubble, as well as additional human remains,” County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said at a morning press conference.

Gov. Ron DeSantis said rescue work is proceeding slowly in part because

'I do trust the president': Senators scramble to save bipartisan infrastructure deal

WASHINGTON – Only days after President Joe Biden reached a would-be deal with a bipartisan group of senators on infrastructure, lawmakers were racing to save the package from potential collapse.

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., stressed to ABC News’ “This Week” there is “absolutely” still a bipartisan deal in Congress that Biden will sign.

“This is the largest infrastructure package in the history of the United States of America,” the West Virginia Democrat said. “There is no doubt in my mind, never has been a doubt in my mind, that (Biden) is anxious for this bill to pass and for him to sign it.”

The deal, initiated by a bipartisan group of 10 senators that later

“It is now of paramount importance to me to say, from the bottom of my heart, I am so sorry,” she wrote. “I threw myself into the teachings of Keith
