BaBaLio’s Lunar New Year Menu is a Taste of Home and Family

Ringing in this Year of the Ox will be very different from previous Lunar New Year celebrations. Family gatherings have been canceled; traveling has been restricted. In response, Tiffany Ran, owner of Seattle’s BaBaLio, is offering a traditional feast of Taiwanese dishes to make home and family feel a bit closer.

Named after Taiwan’s international calling code — 8-8-6 in Chinese — BaBaLio (aka, BB6) has been a comforting connection since 2018, holding vibrant Taiwanese pop-up dinners and, in the last year, developing multicourse to-go menus for easy at-home dining. This Lunar New Year, it’s offering steamed whole fish, sesame oil chicken, morels longevity noodles, red yeast rice pork

J.P. Morgan Says These 3 Gold Stocks Could Surge 40% (Or More)

Let’s talk about gold. The precious metal is the traditional safe haven investment, backed by its use – starting 5,000 years ago – as a reliable store of value. Investors looking to protect their portfolio and secure their wealth traditionally bought heavily into gold, and the price of gold has sometimes been used as a proxy (albeit an inverse one) for general economic health. In a recent report, investment firm J.P. Morgan took a long look at the state of the gold industry – specifically, the gold mining industry. Analyst Tyler Langton points out an underlying
