Noir Lux Lights Up Fourth Avenue

Must Read

It’s often said that good things come in threes, and for Colina Bruce, founder of the lifestyle and home fragrance brand Noir Lux, that’s certainly proving true.

With a flagship shop in Belltown and an outpost in Ballard, Bruce is rounding out a Noir Lux trio with the opening of the Noir Lux Collective on 4th Avenue. Popping up through September and made possible thanks to Seattle Restored, the two-level space “is designed to be a multifunctional hub that brings together retail, creativity, and community,” according to Bruce.

Several women sit at a table making Noir Lux candles, surrounded by candle supplies, essential oil bottles, and colorful markers as they experiment with unique fragrance blends.

Downstairs, there is a curated apothecary featuring Noir Lux candles and products from a diverse range of brands. Upstairs, the focus will be gatherings, events, workshops, and experiences. “Our goal is to create a space that feels warm, welcoming, and alive, where people can gather, create, and connect in meaningful ways,” says Bruce, who notes that her brand is “rooted in community, creativity, and self-care … Our mission is to use candles as a conduit to build connection and community by creating spaces where people can slow down, create, and engage with one another in a more intentional way.”
