Must Read

On Sunday, June 7, the world’s attention turns to Monaco as Formula One transforms Port Hercule into a dazzling convergence of superyachts, exotic automobiles, luxury hospitality, and global influence. Half a world away, Seattle will celebrate the arrival of its own defining moment, for those who know where to find it.

Introducing Terminal One Motor + Yacht Club, a first-of-its-kind destination envisioned as the Pacific Northwest’s definitive home for collectors, yacht owners, automotive enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and connoisseurs of life.Unlike Monaco, which comes alive for a single weekend each year, Terminal One is being designed to endure for generations.

The new development of luxury spaces will be located at the historic Ballard Locks. Terminal One will feature condominium garage residences, a future superyacht basin, hospitality-focused gathering spaces, and a vibrant community centered around shared passions and extraordinary assets with property management by Columbia Hospitality. At its core, the concept reimagines ownership itself with interiors inspired by Olson Kundig.

They are wholly owned luxury commercial condominiums—”garage-sized safety deposit boxes you can drive into”—designed to protect, showcase, and celebrate collections ranging from automobiles and motorcycles to artwork, wine, memorabilia, and watercraft. Owners will have the opportunity to personalize their spaces with custom mezzanines, lounges, display galleries, offices, and entertainment environments that reflect their individual lifestyles.

“Terminal One is about creating a place where people can celebrate their passions and surround themselves with others who share those passions,” says Neda Perrina, co-listing broker with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty. “This is not simply about storage. It’s about ownership, community, and creating an environment that reflects the personalities and lifestyles of the people who choose to be here.”

The timing is particularly compelling. As Seattle prepares to welcome the world during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, its most visible global moment since the 1962 World’s Fair introduced the Space Needle,Terminal One is poised to emerge as a new landmark that celebrates the city’s unique connection to innovation, water, mobility, and lifestyle.

“Seattle has always been a city defined by its connection to water, innovation, and adventure,” says Jay Kipp, co-listing broker with Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty. “Terminal One brings all of those elements together in a way we’ve never seen before. It offers collectors and enthusiasts an opportunity to own something truly unique in one of the most dynamic waterfront cities in North America. And it arrives at a time of unprecedented global awareness in our city.”

To celebrate the launch, enthusiasts are invited to attend Rally & Rendezvous on Sunday, June 7, at 15 Lake Street in Kirkland. Guests are can arrive by land or water. Collector automobiles and vessels are welcome. This event provides a preview the project, connection with fellow enthusiasts, and ability to be among the first to reserve ownership. Greater than a garage. More than a marina. A collective of collectors.
