Emerald City Short Film Festival Meet-n-Greet & Movie Swap
Sometimes, the best part of a film festival isn’t actually watching the movies: it’s hanging around discussing what you saw with like-minded strangers. That’s essentially the idea behind this Emerald City Short Film Festival pre-fest meet and greet. Part hang, part movie swap, this casual party happens the night before the festival kicks off, inviting filmmakers, aspiring directors, devoted Letterboxd users, and general movie buffs to chat over a drink and hopefully make a few new friends. The movie swap is optional, but if you are feeling inspired, bring a favorite DVD or Blu-ray to trade! Who knows, you might even come away with a new favorite hidden gem. LANGSTON THOMAS
