Family-owned bakery Treat Cookies opened in Burien this past spring. Since opening its doors, Treat’s mother-daughter team, Monica Barret and Chelsey Hancock, have baked up traditional cookie goodness with twists of fun flavors.
Customers are sure to be tempted by favorites like “The Madison” (a chocolate chip mix of chocolatey textures, flaky sea salt, and chocolate chunks) or “The Taylor” (a delectably doted frosted sugar cookie). More daring customers should try out the limited-time monthly flavors like “The Charlie,” a rainbow cereal-inspired fruity-pebble combination.
Hancock said that the names of the cookies all nod to “different people who inspire us.”
