Duchess Kate is self-isolating after being exposed to a person who tested positive for COVID-19.
“Last week, The Duchess of Cambridge came into contact with someone who has subsequently tested positive for COVID-19,” Kensington Palace told USA TODAY in a statement. “Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home.”
Kate, 39, was flagged to the exposure Friday afternoon and began her 10-day isolation, following British guidelines. She has received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. The palace shared a photo of her receiving her first jab at the Science Museum in London on May 28.
