You get $5,000! And you get $5,000! And YOU get $5,000! Today, non-profit Black Fret announced their latest series of grants (totaling $55,000) that will go to 11 Seattle-area bands to do with as they please: Acid Tongue, Beverly Crusher, Black Ends, Caitlin Sherman, Da Qween, Parisalexa, SassyBlack, Shelby Earl, Sol, True Loves, and Zan Fiskum. The Austin-based non-profit launched a Seattle chapter in 2020 to provide financial relief to local musicians.
