Paramount’s “The Naked Gun” reboot, one of the year’s funniest movies, has made $1.6 million at the box office so far after Thursday previews.
It’s on track to make between $15 million and $17 million, which is a respectable start considering theatrical comedies rarely get released anymore and the film only cost $42 million to produce.
