People living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias are invited to bring a friend for a gently-paced walk through Issaquah’s Confluence Park next Saturday, July 10, at 10:30 a.m.
The event is a collaboration between Downtown Issaquah Association, MOMENTIA, and Janice King.
King, author of Eastside Seattle Walks, will guide participants through the walk. Participants should meet at the picnic shelter and pack a lunch for afterward.
It’s recommended that participants should be able to walk on uneven ground without assistance. The walk is not walker- or cane-friendly.
To register or ask additional questions, contact Allyson Schrier of MOMENTIA Eastside at [email protected] or (425) 358-1009.
