Surprise! Amber Heard has announced that she recently became a mother.
The “Aquaman” actress took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal that she quietly welcomed a baby girl, Oonagh Paige Heard, on her “own terms” earlier this year on April 8.
“I’m so excited to share this news with you,” Heard, 35, wrote, captioning a photo of herself holding her daughter in bed. “Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms. I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way.”
The actress added that she hopes it becomes “normalized to
