A woman’s body was found Monday, Jan. 20, along the Bellevue-area Coal Creek Trail, according to city police.
An investigation into her death is currently in the works. The woman’s body showed no indications of trauma, police said.
Identifying information has yet to be released.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office is determining how the woman died.
On the morning of Jan. 21, Bellevue police announced via Twitter that detectives had determined there were no evidence of foul play.
Bellevue police public information officer Meeghan Black shared with the Reporter at around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 21) that there were no new updates following the Twitter announcement earlier that day, and police were waiting to hear the medical examiner’s findings.
Officers responded to the situation at around 9:36 a.m. on Jan. 20 after the bystanders who found the body alerted them to the scene.
