Destry Allyn Spielberg is making her feature directorial debut. Deadline reports that she will helm action pic “Four Assassins (And A Funeral)” for Erica Lee and Basil Iwanyk’s Thunder Road Pictures.
With production slated for the first half of 2023, “Four Assassins” centers on “the adoptative daughter of a legendary assassin,” per The Tracking Board.
Spielberg expressed her enthusiasm for the project, saying that she is “thrilled and honored to have the privilege of working with Thunder Road to tell this story of family, deceit, and murder!”
The director previously helmed the short film “Let Me Go (The Right Way).” The psychological thriller premiered at Tribeca Film Festival this year
