Officers received a report at 11:20 a.m. on Feb. 20, of a car crashing into and through the front window of a store on the 200 block of 105th Avenue Northeast.
The driver was a 90-year-old female, who confused the gas and break pedals, according to Bellevue Police Department Officer Seth Tyler.
There were no reported injuries, and the driver was not taken to the hospital.
“I don’t have any information as to whether or not the driver was issued any tickets,” Tyler said.
Officers interviewed the driver and released her at the scene.
The store was Omega Photo.
Business owner John Sadler said he asked the driver if she was okay after the incident. The store will be closed for several days, Sadler added.
Sadler didn’t know how much the damage would cost.
“No idea,” Sadler said. “Several thousand dollars — there’s a lot of inventory that was damaged.”
