Another Springsteen is making plans to perform on the world’s biggest stage.
Jessica Springsteen has been named as a member of the U.S. Olympic equestrian team that will compete later this month in Tokyo, Japan.
Springsteen, daughter of legendary rock star Bruce Springsteen, was an alternate rider for the 2012 U.S. team in London. She failed to make the squad in 2016, but is set to make her Olympic debut this year as a member of the jumping squad.
The 29-year-old began riding horses when she was four at the family’s farm in Colt’s Neck, New Jersey. She’s now ranked No. 3 on the U.S. rider list and No. 27 in the world.
