A perfect mix of sweet and sour—and PUNK!—Seattle-based band Lemon Boy is poised to take over.
Lemon Boy imbues its music with a particularly Seattle-DIY ethos that pulls from pop, punk, and riot grrrl, one that celebrates smoking weed and masturbating while also yelling about the horrors of the patriarchy. Self-described as “three ethnically ambiguous girls screaming into mics,” the trio consists of guitarist Yasiman “Yaz” Ahsani, bassist Nicole Guisti, and drummer Myriah Hernandez-Charbeneau.
