In response to threats immigrants are facing under the second Trump administration, a massive collection of Seattle bars, restaurants, and pop-ups have organized a fundraising effort on behalf of immigrant rights. This Friday, February 7, over 100 hospitality businesses will donate a portion of their proceeds to immigration nonprofits, primarily the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP), which provides legal aid and other assistance to immigrants in the region.
