0

The good news for Niall Horan fans in the U.S. is that he’ll be doing a summer tour of the States in support of his imminent album release. The slightly not-so-good news, for fans who might’ve hoped for more immediate gratification, is that this arena/amphitheater tour will be in summer 2024, kicking off almost a year after the new record comes out.

European fans will get a slight head start on the tour, but those dates are waiting until next year, too, with the first night of the international jaunt set for Feb. 21, 2024 in Belfast, UK at the SSE Arena.

“Fast & Furious 10” (aka “Fast X”) dominated the mainland China box office with a strong opening weekend and a revved up opening five days.

Data from consultancy firm Artisan Gateway shows Fast X scored $51.1 million between Friday and Sunday, to comfortably top the Chinese box office, with a 58% market share.

Unusually, the film opened on a Wednesday. Over five days, it accumulated $77.4 million.

SPOILER ALERT: This story contains spoilers for “NMB NMP,” the fifth episode of “Somebody Somewhere” now streaming on HBO Max.

Season 2 of HBO’s slice-of-life dramedy “Somebody Somewhere” has, up to this point, put its platonic love story between Sam and Joel in a slowly ascendant bubble, according to star Bridget Everett. But in Sunday’s fifth episode, the bubble burst.

After a season and a half spent piecing her life and relationships back together, Sam (Everett) slides back into isolating old habits after being confronted with back-to-back revelations. “We don’t move at a very fast clip on this show, so it kind of takes awhile to rev

Henry Winkler Talks ‘Barry’s’ Terrifying Penultimate Episode: ‘I Had to Change My Underwear’

It’s clear by this point in the run of “Barry” that the show is no longer about whether or not its title character (series co-creator Bill Hader) is a redeemable human being; as Hader puts it, despite all of his lying and killing, “he doesn’t understand what he did wrong.” Instead, as the fourth and final season comes to a close, the more morally gray supporting characters are beginning to see the consequences of their own failings — ones they can’t blame Barry for.

Played by Henry Winkler, Gene Cousineau emerges from Episode 5’s time jump with a mission to do the right thing. He comes out of

‘Nuggets’ Classics From the ’60s Get Dug Up by Susanna Hoffs, Lenny Kaye and Seminal Garage-Rockers for L.A. Benefit: Concert Review

“More stars than there are in heaven!” crowed Peter Zaremba, lead singer of the Fleshtones, taking a cue from MGM’s famous slogan of the 1930s and ’40s as he boisterously extolled the cast of performers taking part in Friday night’s tribute to the garage-rock of the middle and 1960s. The salute took the form of a semi-reconstruction of the 1972 compilation album “Nuggets,” put together by the Wild Honey Foundation as one of its annual autism benefits at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, with the original compiler of “Nuggets,” Lenny Kaye, on board as emcee, resident historian, cheerleader and intermittent singer-guitarist.
