Tropical Storm Elsa takes aim at Florida
Tropical Storm Elsa is expected to move near the lower Florida Keys and the Dry Tortugas on Tuesday, after it slammed ashore in Cuba Monday. The storm prompted 180,000 Cubans to flee their homes, but there were no early reports of serious damage. The National Hurricane Center said the storm was expected to be near the Florida Keys early Tuesday and would then pass near or over portions of Florida’s west coast by late Tuesday and into Wednesday.
